The Flag Pin app ( market link) is an Android application that puts a flag pin on your phone by displaying a small US Flag in the notification area.
Future plans include:
- Half staff notification and special icon
- Settings to control half staff display and temporarily hide flag icon
- Animated flag in notification pull-down
- Flag day, Memorial day and Veterans day notification
